"Behind the Gates"
Opening up to the beautifully manicured grounds. It is here, that you have your first look back into Pelee Island history, as you approach the 150yr old limestone ruins!
A facinating historical experience
Entering the meticulously restored wine cellars below ground. Be enthralled with the architectural craftmanship and detail that surrounds you. While taking it all in our Ambassador will continue your experience with a complimentary Pelee Island Wine tasting as you look in awe at the 48-foot custom copper and steel chandelier that suspends over the massive 28 guest antique timber table.
Hand crafted Stone Amphitheatre
Before the tour draws to an end, your Island Ambassador will lead you to the one of a kind Stone Amphitheatre located along the Lake Erie shoreline. This beautiful hand crafted, waterfront amphitheatre overlooks Hulda’s Rock and it is here where you will learn about Pelee Island’s most famous legend, The Legend of Hulda!
To commemorate the memories created on your tour, all of our guests receive a prestigious limited edition replica Bronze Medallion representing the original bronze medallion won by Vin Villa Winery at the 1878 World’s Fair in Paris.
